NOF Tag Festival July 2002

On Friday 26th July 2002, saw the culmination of a week's rugby school held at Dartmouth School, in conjuction with NOF funding, Sandwell LEA and the RFU. A Tag tournament was held at the Club. The school was aimed at Year 6 and 7 children and about 40 attended the week. The funding is for three years and I am sure the next two will be even better than the first.

The day was a great sucess, with a team of Year 6 children winning the overall tournament. However, everyone was a winner with all particpants receiving a goody bag from the RFU containing a match ball, recent England International Programme and a pen.

The club would like to thanks Andy Powell, Kate Pagett, Ross Baxter and all the other coaches and helpers who made both the week and the festival running smoothly whilst being enjoyable for the children.
